#asktheexpert I have not given animal milk to my baby in any kind of form till 1 year. now offering it in kheer n other food items, he s not interested in drinking cow milk but drinks some sips of buffalo milk. my question is, as I have not given milk till one will it cause calcium deficiency. n is it ok to offer buffalo milk

no ,no problem.
but instead of offering buffalo milk it is better to offer cow's milk
as it is easily digestible.
but as your child doesn't like it's taste ,try to offer it with different flavors like kesar milk, fig milkshake, dates milk, milk with honey etc
buy a special cup or glass for this
set good example by drinking milk with your child.
