#AskTheExpert I have given birth to a baby girl through cesarian on 10 march. when can I have sex after a cesarian delivery. And when can I try for a second child after having a cesarian

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. three year gap. Contraception of proper types you need. regularly use n not missing is important. avoid multiple dose changeyou have to do a few more tests and a scan after a local doctor advice for proper treatment

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi 1.you can get intimate with your partner only after 6 or 8 weeks of delivery. 2. as ideally there should be gap of 2 or 3 years between two pregnancies ,you should maintain it so your body get enough time to recover from first operations scars.
