Q.

#asktheexpert I have delivered my child on 20th March and got discharged on 23rd March. Since 22nd March I have swelling in feet , hand and face. On checking bp it’s high 140/ 95. Started Telma 40 twice a day. Two queries: 1. Is it normal to have swelling and high bp post pregnancy and taking bp medicine is only needed? 2. Is telma 40 safe for breast feeding.

A. please see cardiologist and take medicine accordingly. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok
