#AskTheExpert i have cuts on my nipples and iam not able to feed if i do any treatments like saline water coconut oil lanolin etc it's not better and then again when i feed it's crazy painful and the blood Congress out.... please suggest....i want to resume feeding

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Rinse the breast after each feeding with water to reduce the risk of infection. Apply a cold pack to numb the injured area before nursing. Cold can help dull the pain. Rub a small amount of this Soframycin or nip care ointment on your nipples after every feeding.
