#AskTheExpert I have contracted rashes around my nipple area and some other parts of the body. Doctor has prescribed Methylprednisone 4mg. Is it safe for my breastfed baby? Thank you.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 11 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi mom Yes this medicine is safe to take during breastfeeding. There is no problem in that. Also always tell ur doctor beforehand that u are breastfeeding mother so that the medicines are prescribed taking that into consideration. Take care and all the best
