#asktheexpert I have a new born who is 1 month old now, he does 8-9 times poty in a day. Is that normal

TrishikaGuardian of 2 children11 months agoA. dear mom it is perfectly alright for a newborn to pass stools 7 to 8 times.the only thing you should be sure regarding Co sisterly and amount ,and colour.if it is too liquid with great amount then you should be worried

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy12 months agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. It is normal for infants. If any is crying while passing motion or if the poop color is white or grey or if you see blood spots on poop then it is advisable to get the baby evaluated by a doctor and follow doctors advise properly.
