#AskTheExpert i have a 6 day old baby girl. Is ac recommended for the new born as it seems too hot now in Kolkata. Kindly suggest as mom is also not feeling comfortable while feeding in this heat. Thanks for your help in advance.

You should try to keep mother and baby both in a normal room temperature. And if you can do that by AC then it will be good. It is not necessary that you can’t use air conditioner but you just try to keep a normal room temperature. And don’t change the temperature of surroundings frequently because it can affect baby’s health
