#AskTheExpert i have 2 month 28 days old baby...he is doing dark green poop since 2 days ..i have started iron drops for him..is it due to that? he is completely on aptamill formula..and his poop colour got changed just 2 days ago..he is active n sleeping well...no change in activities.

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. its ok. iron supplements can cause dark stools 1Don't worry about green stools because it is very commonly seen if your baby is having mild cold and cough or drinks formula milk. Moreover the consistency and the frequency of stool matters more than the colour.

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear They'll be seedy, runny, and mustard-yellow but with little odor. Welcome to the glamour of parenthood! A formula-fed baby will poop from twice a day to once every three or four days. Stool will be greenish or dark yellow and more solid.
