Q.
#AskTheExpert I have 2 and half months baby boy.he is not going to motion daily even milk of magnesia is giving.but he is facing trouble for gettin the motion.pls suggest any other way

Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in fjormula fed babies anyd also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi it is ok if a child is not going for motion on daily basis. but as your child is feeling discomfort while passing stool ,I advise to make sure your child get enough milk or not. give more and more breastfeeds give gentle massage on stomach in clockwise direction with firm hands which definitely help to regularise bowlmovements
