#asktheexpert . I had some stitches while going through normal labor. doctors are saying there is some infection on the stitches and they told me to take some antibiotics for infection. I'm breast feeding my baby. my question is if I take antibiotics it won't effect my baby right?

A. Hi Don’t worry the doctor would advise you to go ahead with the serious antibiotics when you are breastfeeding the baby and if you do not take these antibiotics then it is going to be difficult for you to cope up with these teachers also ask your doctor if you can regularly apply beta Dean in that area and take a straight bat in potassium permanganate but consult your doctor before you go ahead with it
