#AskTheExpert I had my TSH checked 26days and it was within the normal range..recently got my TSH checked and it is alarmingly high...7.9..the doctor prescribed me medication thyronorm 100mcg and test after 15 days again for TSH and free T4. I wanted to know that is it going to affect the baby.Please let me know

A. definitely a difference hypothyroidism and needs the treatment and if there is any need you can consult with your doctor for further suggestions regarding this to clear all your queries in proper details which would be better for a proper guidance.

A. if you are taking the medicine then it will not cause any problem but if you are not taking the medicine then it will cause problem to the child so kindly take the medicine and take follow up
