Q.

#asktheexpert After confirming my pregnancy, I checked my thyroid hormone levels, which showed a TSH of 5.25. Now, in my second trimester, I've checked my thyroid hormone levels again, and it shows a TSH of 2.08. How long do I need to continue taking the 25 mg thyroxine tablet?

A. depending on the TSH it will be adjusted. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok

A. Right now it is well within the rain so you check with your gynaecologist with the range that you have if they say that now your thyroid levels are normal then I don’t think so you need to continue with the medication but it would be good to check with your doctor on
