#asktheexpert I gave birth to a baby girl before 5 months and yesterday I saw that I got period usually after how many months of delivery we will get periods if we are breast feeding our baby

A. Hi, Don't worry. Some mother's got period just in 2-3 months and some in 8-9 months. I got mine after 9 months and my sister in 8 months. This is due to hormones dear. Continue breastfeeding till 6 month exclusively and don't forget to burp after every feed. Start giving semi solid and solid food once baby completes 6 month.

A. Depends on breastfeeding and hormones dear normally breastfeeding mom get period after 5-6 months or even longer
