#asktheexpert I feel burning sensation after breast feeding my 2 month old baby. What could be the reason, is this normal ??

A. hi it can be caused by a different things like: nipple thrush, mastitis, vasospasm, cracked nipples etc so first, I would suggest to check and ensure if child is latching properly or not. you may apply warm compress to your breasts before breastfeeding which help with milk flow and ease discomfort. if there is cracked nipples problem you may use nipcare cream.
