Q.

#AskTheExpert I delivered via c sec on Nov 23, 2020. Got my periods on March end. but from last 2 months not getting my periods. What shud be done.?

A. no need to worry for thePeriods after delivery may occur anytime in between one year and may remain irregular for a few months no medication is needed for that you just need to maintain good nutrition along with adequate water intake

A. Do a routine urine pregnancy test to rule out any possibility of pregnancy. Till the time mother breastfeeds the baby, menstrual cycle is not regular necessarily. There can be variations in the duration of cycle or flow in each cycle. But UPT is must and opting barrier contraception is highly advised as dates are not regular so one can not be sure of ovulation, so chance of conception can be there

A. good morning if you are feeding your baby then there is nothing to worry about however if you have stop feeding your child and I would recommend that you should visit your gynecologist for medication
