#asktheexpert I delivered my first baby on 11 april 2024. I have still not got my period. Do I need to worry. My postpartum bleeding stopped in a month

A. Bleeding often lasts for around for four to six weeks, but could last up to 12 weeks after your baby's born . Bleeding will start off heavy and red to browny red. It will become lighter in colour and flow over time . If it does not reduce, consult with your doctor . so take care

A. No need to worry as its normal to almost 1 yr also. You can consult your gynocologist if there is any other doubt
