Q.

#AskTheExpert I am using thyronorm 25 mg tablet from sep 21 although my tsh level is 3.45. Now I am 5 weeks pregnant nd daily I am taking that tablet. shall I continue that tablet or should I stop it. since I am already using it, there will be any problem till now.

A. You are supposed to use the thyroid medication’s especially when you’re pregnant because if it is not normal then it will affect the baby. Also keep checking your thyroid profile every trimester or inform your doctor and the doctor will tell you when to get it doneWrite Your Answer Here

A. My self same situation. My doctor recommended same tablets till delivery if it is normal range also during pregnancy. After delivery i stop using after my thyroid test done which was normal in range.
