Q.

#AskTheExpert I am trying to feed my baby but my baby is always hungry. And I tried expressing using manual breast pump but didn't get milk. I don't know if am producing enough milk to feed my baby. I am taking a tablet adviced by my gynecologist for helping in milk secretion. What to do?

A. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also. the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child child should sleep after taking breastfeeding. meet the doctor for weight assessment. if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate breastfeeding
