Q.

#AskTheExpert I am nursing mother and I have cold. May I feed my baby, and may l have medicine?

A. take tablet cetirizine 10mg once a day and paracetamol 500 mg can be taken for fever as well as pain. go for hot saline gargles at least 4 times per day andc take tulsi ginger honey as wexll as turmeric with milk. you can continue breastfeeding if going on. if there is no improvement in 3 days it is advisable to meet the doctor

A. Yes Of course you can and whatever medicine you go ahead with you should consult your doctor once before you go for it since you are a nursing mother you should never have any medicine without consulting your doctor but you can have a regular basic standard medicines any time
