#AskTheExpert i am new mother have 5days old baby boy. Got inverted and flat nipples and is difficult to feed him. Doc recommended to use nipple shields as i got worse cracked nipples. But the milk from shields is not enought for baby can i take any supplement to increase the milk supply

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and please have shatavari powder with cow milk twice a day and also have soaked meethi seeds early in the morning and use mamaearth nipple butter cream for cracked nipples.

yes you can take supplements like leptadin tablet or shatavary granular with warm milk twice in a day for this
mam,you can apply nipcare cream to treat cracked nipples
but always Rinse it well before you start feeding
