#asktheexpert . i am mother of 8 month baby boy . he has a problem in motion . motion like dark green colour and he is also reducing his weight. what syrup can be given to weight gain and to make hungry and sleep because now a days he not eating well and sleeping time also reducing for his digestion. please suggest any syrup for my 8 month baby boy

A. the green colour of the poop is because of breast milk or even formula milk and it is absolutely normal and there are no syrups which directly improve the weight of the baby and you have to give high protein diet for weight gain

A. hi you must consult your pediatrician for physical check up . as the symptoms indicates stomach upset or infection. at home,stop giving new food items for now. prefer to offer light food like khichdi, rice, fruits etc you can give fiber rich food like spinach soup, tomatoes soup to make bowlmovements easy. give natural probiotics like fresh curd buttermilk banana etc to your child. Give Massage with Babyhug massage oil everyday which will definitely help to cure stomach problems.
