#AskTheExpert I am mother of 3yr old daughter. she still takes breastfeed. i always have cold and runny nose and dry skin issues. i worry if my daughter will face same isse?as i still breastfeed her?i use aurvedic cough syrup for cold and misturizer for skin regularly, will it affect my baby?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. it is high time you can stop breastfeeding the baby e Cold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time

Hi parent Yes , you may still breast feed her. make.sure to wear the mask and sanitize your hands prior to it keep a bowl full of chopped onion near bed approx three feet far over night take sunbathing daily with head and ears covered in the morning
