#AskTheExpert I am in my 39week after internal scan am noticing brownish mucus discharge from past 2-3 days could you please confirm is it after how many days will labour pains will start?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist2 years agoA. It could be something called as Show and if you had a pelvic examination, it could also be because of that. The labor pains usually start within 48 hours, but still consult a doctor

When you have abdomen pain along with hardening of stomach and simultaneously back pain and vaginal pain - that is the indication that your labor pain has been started. And you should visit to your doctor is brown discharge is present you should once get proper examination
