Q.

#asktheexpert I am giving my baby formula milk 2-3 times a day and other times he is fed on breast milk.. During night time before making him sleep I feed him 90ml formula milk.. but he wakes up multiple times during night and falls asleep by having breastmilk. How to make him sleep throughout the night? Does he feel hungry or is it just an habit of sucking breastmilk while sleeping? Also what should be the quantity of formula milk that I should feed him with? please reply

A. this pattern of feeding is very commonly seen in children and you have to give only breast feeding and give outside milk only if it is required. also due to colic pain the child may wake up so kindly do proper burping for 15 to 20 minutes
