Q.

#asktheexpert I am giving breast milk for my new born. she sucks it for 5 to 10 min and will sleep off. Again she will wake up in sometime and will drink milk again. How to know if she is getting enough milk?

A. Your baby appears content and satisfied after most feeds. Your breasts feel softer after feeds. Your nipple looks more or less the same after feeds – not flattened, pinched or white. You may feel sleepy and relaxed after feeds.
