#AskTheExpert I am breast feeding my 2 month old child as well as giving him formula milk . Yesterday my pet dog has bitten me and I have taken rabies injection Can I continue to breast feed?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. no formula pls. Breastfeeding is considered the best source of natural immunity and also all the antibodies to a newborn baby . Doctor s don't recommend formula milk as it is not required at all . exclusive breastfeeding is the best for good immunity and baby health , reduces colic and gas issues and helps in the overall brain development of the baby. No water , ghutti or honey or any other syp is given till 6 months of age .
