Q.

#asktheexpert I am a mother ( breast feeding) of 1 month baby, can I have a jack fruit? Will it trouble baby digestion , as my baby is on breast feeding

A. any fruit or vegetables isn't gojng to cause difficulties if taken wisely in Limited quantities.. avoid much oily spicy foods and keep yourself well hydrated Mother's milk is a complete food for the baby that is why it is always recommended to exclusively breastfeed the baby till first six months post birth. The initial portion contains the watery foremilk that takes care of hydration and the later portion that is the hind milk takes care of nutrition and is rich in fats. So there is no requirement of giving any kind of juice or water to the baby

A. you can have jack fruit yes as a lactating mother you should have a healthy and balanced diet keep your self well hydrated avoid oily spicy food take care
