Q.

#AskTheExpert I am 8 mnths pregnant and my feet swell a lot. There is no relief even after putting a pillow under my legs. The swelling is almost double the size of my feet. Is swelling to such an extent normal? What should I do to relieve the discomfort?

A. in pregnancy swelling in feet or hands is common but if it is extreme then it can be due to iron deficiency do consult with your gynaecologist regarding this once as she will guide you better after proper examination and analyzing and suggest you accordingly. meanwhile you can do massage on legs with mustard oil or can put legs in warm water and add a one spoon salt in it.
