#asktheexpert I am 5 months pregnant. Sometimes during deep sleep I end up sleeping straight. I have seen videos where it is mentioned to avoid sleeping straight also. Will that be a problem. Can someone assist

A. There is absolutely no issue in sleeping street until 24 weeks of pregnancy and beyond that you’re not supposed to sleep in a straight manner because the Uterus might push the Vessels underlying and cause hyportension. What you can do is sleep in a semi upright position because that way this problem is solved.
