#AskTheExpert I am 4 months pregnant ..my gyno has written L folima tablets .and I have got iron and folic acid tablets from govt dispensary can I continue with these tablets?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. During second trimester, you need to take only iron and calcium supplevents. If there is very much need, only then folic acid supplement is being continued. So you can consult with your doctor for how much time you need to continue the medication of L folima.

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 11 m old boy2 years agoA. hello since you are expecting mom you should not take any other supplements unless it is prescribed by your doctor and if it is prescribed by your doctor you may take it not a problem and Dr generally prescribes is supplement based on the need of an individual
