#AskTheExpert I am 28weeks pregnant with gestational diabetes 191 2hrs. after glucose doctor has prescribed me ecosprin 150 for now .what medicine should I take for diabeties and why I am prescribed ecosprin?

The medication ecospirin that has been prescribed is not for diabetes in particular but it will help in protecting the baby against the side effects of all these disorders and also helpful in preventing hypertension to a certain extent. NikithaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello eco sprin for diabetic I doubt and it can be for different reason and it is better to talk with your gynecologist again and take some clarity which should be better and also safe and she will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly
