#asktheexpert Hy dr my kid is 4 months old and his weight is 6.3 kgs At the time of birth he was 3.02 kgs He will be turning 5 months old this 29 march Is he healthy or weight is a concern? He is feeding from breastfeed

A. By five months of age the baby should double the birthweight and your baby is almost there. As the baby’s on breast-feed, I feel that it is a healthy weight gain and there is no need to worry.
