Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated witioh anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. Garlic and Carom Seeds Take a few garlic cloves and 2-3 spoons of carom seeds, and roast them in a pan. Put these roasted spices in a muslin cloth and make a pouch. Place it on your baby’s pillow or crib. The anti-bacterial properties of garlic and carom seeds are effective in fighting cold and congestion.
