Q.

#asktheexpert How to increase the weight of a 1.5 month old baby boy.. only breastfed and formula once in day. My baby is little taller compared to the other babies.

A. your infant should be continued to breastfed. No matter what is the height, but the mother feed will help to build immunity and growth appropriately. do not do demand feed. offer 2 hours of feed to see the weight gain happening over a period of time.

A. Hi mom Babeis they gain around 200 gms per week in the first month and half kgs every month till six months.. Feed after every 2-3 hours interval or when demanded by the baby for weight gain. Feed for longer time from one side so that baby gets both fore milk and Hind milk. Hind milk is rich in fat and thicker which will help in weight gain of the baby.
