Babies are expected to almost double their birth weight by age of 4 to 6 months & then triple by age of 1.
Their diet should include soft consistency foods, were in you can gradually introduce new foods, from varied food groups for them.
such as dry fruits , nuts and seeds, egg yolk, panner, ghee, dals, rice, roti , sago etc

first, if child is breastfed baby, I advise to give it more
in your child diet, I advise to incorporate foods rich in Healthy fats like avacado,fullfat yoghurt etc
limit the food items that can fill your baby up without providing substantial calories like watery fruits and vegetables
give fruits like apple, banana, papaya more
