#asktheexpert how to correct baby's head while sleeping so that it doesn't lead to flathead.

A. due to pressure on one side of the head during sleeping there is flatness / abnormal shape on that side of the head. no treatment is required for flat head / bumpy head and you will see that by one year to two ycears of age the flat head will go away as soon as the child begins to sit and later walk. pillows will not help much in this case so do not worry. the bones in the skull are elastic so to give space to the growing brain it takes different shape and when the growth of the brain occcurs properly then gradually they will take a normal shape

A. hi dear You can whisper while soothing your little one and use slow gestures and movements. On the contrary, during the day, stimulate the baby by going out and bringing light into the house and into the nursery. Of course, avoid waking up the baby, even if it is daytime. She needs a lot of sleep
