Q.

#asktheexpert How should i wean off breastfeeding ? my baby is 1 yr old and she is on bm+solids. In this current Covid situation, is it good to breastfeed or i can wean her ?

A. once you have started giving a full diet with solid food item you should gradually paper of the breastfeeding frequency and quantity and gradually divert the child whenever the child is demanding breastfeeding

A. hi mam, ideally mother can feed her child up to 2 years age. so if you both feel comfortable ,you can continue. otherwise you should start weaning. but do it gradually. for that ,shorten your feeding sessions gradually. offer variety in your child diet which will help to encourage your child to take interest in food.
