Q.
#asktheexpert how much sleep is sufficient for a newborn. my kid is awake for around half a day.

it can be around 18 hours per day
but if child is taking less sleep,it can be result of gas, hunger Etc
so please offer breasfeeding as per your child needs,make sure your child get enough milk
burp your baby in between and after each feeding
swaddle your baby well, make sure it should not be too tight
