#asktheexpert How many doses of paracetamol is advisable after vaccination? I have already given 5 doses with gap of 8 hrs between each dose. Temperature is getting reduced after giving medicine but coming back wfter 6 hrs. Till how many days baby will have fever? He didn’t get fever last two times but this time vaccination he heas got fever with highest temperature 102F. Is there anything to worry?Should we take hik to hospital?

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 4 months old now generally post vaccination fever is normal and can persist for upto 3 days but it's not normally so high so consult with your pediatrician tomorrow
