#AskTheExpert how many days viral fever goes? my daughter have fever from last 4 days and usually she is getting fever in the morning and sometimes in evening as well. I am giving calpol 250mg after 6 Hours. Do I need to take any other medicine for infection and all.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. hi, viral fever last long for 6 to 7 days. keep temperature checking in every 6 hourly.. Fevers higher than 100° F. give paracetamol syrup in proper dose. tc.

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children3 years agoA. good morning yes definitely that fever is still there I would recommend that you should try to visit your doctor and get a blood test done for the child to make sure the child is not having an infection
