#asktheexpert how many days it takes to cure jaundice .my baby got jaundice after 2 days of her born.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy1 Year agoA. there is always a chance of neonatal jaundice in small children within one or maximum 2 weeks of birth in which the skin as the eyes may appear yellow. you have to meet the doctor for evaluation odf the jaundice. normal simple jaundice will go away on its own with only breastfeeding but if it is more your doctor will advise phototherapy.d the yellowness from the eyes may take around 1 to 1 and half month to totally go away.
