#asktheexpert how many days can be a 3 month old baby go without pooping. and what's the reason for irregular pooping in 3 months

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food hafs been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisagn drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given onfly in medical supervision .

About 5 to 7 days I believe is a good timing kids can have constipation issues and they can manage without putting for 5 to 7 days after that also if your child is not going to pass a motion then you can consult your doctor for some laxativeWrite Your Answer Here
