A. Colic in babies is a very common issue and it's matter of concern for parents as the baby is extremely irritable and inconsolable by most of the means. Exclusive breastfeeding with a proper buprintg and keeping the baby in an upright position will be helpful. Antiflatulence medicine like semithicone , probiotics and enzyme preparations may be helpful. Maternal lifestyle and dietary habbits are also contributory and importangt.

A. Episodes of colic usually peak when an infant is about 6 weeks old and decline significantly after 3 to 4 months of age. While the excessive crying will resolve with time, managing colic adds significant stress to caring for your newborn child.
