A. Dear mum, to increase your 6 months old girl’s weight, you should give a homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables. You should give 2 to 3 meals a day and up to half katori every time. Continue to breastfeed. Add ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible. You can give foods like porridge, kheer, homemade cerelac, khichadi, dal rice with vegetables, curd. Later mashed paneer.
