Mother's milk is a complete food for the baby that is why it is always recommended to exclusively breastfeed the baby till first six months post birth.
The initial portion contains the watery foremilk that takes care of hydration and the later portion that is the hind milk takes care of nutrition and is rich in fats.
So there is no requirement of giving any kind of juice or water to the babyAlways recommend not to give Gripe water because it can some times result in infection .
Moreover if baby is having gases discomfort you can deal it by doing tummy time for him.
Massaging the tummy in gentle circular motion .
Doing leg peddling exercises.
Giving gastica drops or Himalaya bonnisan drops.
