This is very important for building the immunity also.
Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc.
Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is most common.
Supplemtents like iron supplements and multivitamin with lysinye like syp zincovit CL can be given for 1-2 months to increase the appetite.
Diet counselling is also very important .

As ur child is big enough now, tell the importance of eating fruits.
Give fresh fruit juice if not taking fruits.
u can give different milkshakes like apple banana chicco strawberry mango etc
