#asktheexpert How do deal with iron deficiency in kids? Also will supplements really help or change in diet? If it’s change diet what are foods which are to be consumed?

A. Hello mom both play a role as in cases where the deficiency is quite high then supplements along with change in diet will help otherwise alone dietary changes can also help . Iron rice foods are such as green leafy vegetables, dry fruits such as raisins , dates , apricots etc Organ meats like liver , green peas , fortified foods , sea foods , lentils etc
