#AskTheExpert Hlo mam As I'm experiencing pinching type of throughout feed follwed by sore n crack on nipples. I hav tried different positions n made him to hav deep latch but still pain continue throughout feed... it's been getting 2 months but still I hav not resolved with my issue...

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. best to apply breastmilk to cracked nipple especially hind milk. it has great healing properties. don't wear bra until healed and let it air dry.
improper latching may have resulted in this. take care that maximum areola is in mouth of child, lower lip is curled out and chin touches breast
take help from lactational consultant
