#AskTheExpert hlo dr. good morning my baby 2.5years old usko last 3 days s cold n cough it's very running nose

A. Cough and Cold should be treg#sated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor . As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful . Cough Syp should be given only after a proper evaltuation .

A. If there is heavy running nose or cold and she seems cranky and intolerable then please take her to the doctor. Or if it is mild and just started you can try this home remedy. Heat coconut oil and add little bit of powdered camphor (pure one without chemicals). Once the mixture is lukewarm apply on the baby's chest, back, neck, nose and feet gently. Also make sure you add only little amount of camphor as it can cause skin irritation.
