#asktheexpert Hlo doc my daughter is almost 11 months old. Her pediatrician recommended to give her tonoferon iron drops twice a day. But she is conspitated. What should I do??

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. iron causes constipation here there after you can consult with your local doctor and so get proper guidance for this accordingly to clear all your doubts further in proper way and it would be helpful .

Constipation can be a side-effect of the Iron supplements that you are giving to the child very commonly seen with kids so you can ask your doctor to change the drops because certain the particular drop is not suiting because Iron septum is also have a huge variety so you can change the supplement for the child
